Hi all, not used to posting on Usenet. I came across this on YouTube and
thought it was really great documentary on early text adventures.

Hope you enjoy!

Pretty sure I watched it years ago.

The newsgroup you wanted the follow up does not exist on my server.

True, true. Plus the rather hobbiest style of the video. Did make it
feel real/genuine thought.

This doc plus 6 x 80min rugby matches this weekend kept me at my
computer screen!

I use SLRN for Usenet, I tried posting to multiple groups for the first
time and some reason that group was selected for follo-up. Should I
remove that line in future?

Unless you have a reason to, don't put a followup-to header line.
If I find it I typically remove it, not having that group subscribed, or
not wanting to post on that group.
Sometimes I set a followup-to. One day the discussion in a Linux group
changed to CPUs and even whether the 6502 or Z80 would be the "best". I
set a followup to the folklore group.
Just for me to understand. Halfway through a thread if you feel the
conversation has moved on to a topic suitable for another group you set
the follow-up to the group?

Exactly. Well most of the time at the beginning of a discussion. If too
much "off topic" was already posted I do NOT set a followup-to.
