During the week that whizzed past us nowadays, the Anabasis of Mentifex accelerated.

This morning I performed a fiendishly shifty and diabolical maneuver. In the extra postprandial half-hour scheduled for me by the later Saturday opening of this coffee shop, I updated the

http://ai.neocities.org/acbor.html -- "A Cyborg Bill of Rights"

webpage for Self-Promotion Saturday uploading to the scifi subReddit. I removed the page-bottom material pertinent to Ada's Technical Books and I replaced it with the first one hundred authentication entries from the https://ai.neocities.org/eBay.html webpage. Then I posted the link around 5:00 a.m. and immediately somebody from Scotland came and looked at it.

By the end of the day, 180 visitors arrived and were still coming.

https://old.reddit.com/r/scifi/comments/vv03yu/sps_a_cyborg_bill_of_rights

In the evening I updated and renamed the Mentifex FAQ with a new beginning.

Why did Mentifex flood the market with Authenticated Mentifex Autographs?

Towards the end of his life, Mentifex decided to use autographed postcards as an incentive for savvy individuals to evaluate the double contribution of Mentifex to the otherwise stagnant State of the Art in open-source artificial intelligence. His double achievements were a Theory of Mind for AI and software to implement the theory. At his own expense, Mentifex signed and mailed out a limited edition set of more than a hundred postcards which could potentially bring a monetary windfall to any collector who shrewdly became a recognized dealer in Mentificana. If the prevailing opinion is that Mentifex postcards are worthless, a speculator may gather up Authenticated Mentifex Postcards against the day when Netizens want to own a piece of the Singularity.

Thanks, but I’ve tried to own a piece of the singularity a couple of times
before, but to probably no one else’s surprise my collectibles have
returned pennies on the dollar.

But it's a once in a lifetime offer!

PS I have one magnetic monopole for sale to a good home. Currently I'm
using it in my perpetual motion machine (TM), but if treated right could
be a source of infinite power. 1 trillion dollars, o.n.o.

But seriously, how can Murray compete against Google?

Piffle, I was only going to ask a hundred billion for my quantum black

My negative entropy generator keeps overheating. Maybe a quantum black hole
would fix it?

Wasn't it just moving out of the Canadian arctic circle? Thus a Canadian
should purchase it and bring it back home, where it belongs.

Nothing against the vacuum bubble I placed near the Oort Cloud, so some 3
light years away. Since expanding with the speed of light, don't make any
plans for after that.

Sounds dangerous. I wonder if your vacuum bubble device is any relation
to the scalar devices used to induce strategic earthquakes.

Put none of this is as dangerous as that new product,
about to hit the market:
vacuum bubble gum.

Well, it consumes everything in its way. No more earthquakes on earth, or
anything to worry about anywhere in its path.

But seriously, how can Murray compete against Google?
I only have to compete against Google's top AI practitioner or top AI theoretician.

Most persons recently trying to create AI in software do not have a Theory of Mind telling them what to code.

The visitor logs for my many AI webpages show a constant stream of Netizens examining my AI work.

The Mentifex Autograph Postcard campaign -- now at 135 issued postcards -- is a way to speed things up.

Yesterday I finished mailing out the 80 Magus Books postcards that I bought a month ago, so I pause now.

Most of thee Mentifex initiatives suddenly take a surprising turn, so we shall see.

Oh, by the way, it was really fun to think up clever techniques for filling out the postcards.
For instance, I learned to write the name of each bookstore in really LARGE letters, so that any propagated image of my postcard would appeal to the bookstore owners as an advertisement for their bookstore.

Maybe Mentifex is becoming the Banksy of the Internet.

Thanks for all your clever, witty, astounding comments

Arthur qua Mentifex.
