I was just looking for

C28-6639 IBM FORTRAN IV (G) Programmer's Guide

or related publications, since they illustrate the S-type calling convention used
on the IBM System/360, and this important manual is not among those of which they
have a copy on-line!

There is good news, though.

I had to look around; an assembler guide for the 370 just mentioned macros, and
referred the reader to a book on macros and system services I couldn't find.

But the information I wanted is in

C24-5038-0
Disk and Tape Operating Systems FORTRAN IV Programmer's Guide May 1966

which _is_ on the Bitsavers site. Whew!
