I was just looking for
C28-6639 IBM FORTRAN IV (G) Programmer's Guide
or related publications, since they illustrate the S-type calling convention used
on the IBM System/360, and this important manual is not among those of which they
have a copy on-line!
There is good news, though.
I had to look around; an assembler guide for the 370 just mentioned macros, and
referred the reader to a book on macros and system services I couldn't find.
But the information I wanted is in
Disk and Tape Operating Systems FORTRAN IV Programmer's Guide May 1966
which _is_ on the Bitsavers site. Whew!
